Privacy policy

Gloopex Beauty Studio Ltd. (Companies House No. 14528391) is a small Marylebone studio. We try to hold the minimum amount of guest information we possibly can while still running a careful service. This page explains what we keep and why.

The information we collect

From a booking enquiry form on this site we receive your name, email, optional phone number, the treatment room you chose, and the message you sent us. We do not collect IP addresses for marketing, and we do not run profiling on visitors.

Once you become a guest we hold a treatment record card with the practitioner who looks after you. That record may include skin or hair notes, products used, allergies you've shared, and the dates of your visits. The card is held by your practitioner and is not shared between practitioners without your written request.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit, to deliver your treatment safely, and to honour our 14-day touch-up promise and 14-day gel guarantee. We rely on legitimate interest as our lawful basis under the UK GDPR for keeping treatment notes, and consent for marketing communications (which we don't currently send).

Who we share it with

We don't sell guest information, and we don't share it with marketing platforms. Our website is hosted at INGNX in the United Kingdom and form submissions are processed on the same server. We use no analytics scripts that track guests across sites.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries that don't lead to a visit are deleted within 90 days. Treatment cards for active guests are held while you are a guest of the studio and for two years after your last visit, after which they are destroyed.

Your rights

  • You may ask for a copy of every record we hold for you.
  • You may ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • You may ask us to erase your records — we'll comply unless we're required to keep them by law.
  • You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.

Contact

To exercise any of the above, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We reply within five working days.
